April is Fair Housing Month

The Fair Housing Act was passed in April of 1968, and prohibits discrimination in housing due to race, national origin, religion, sec, familial status, disability status, etc. The Village of Alfred strongly supports the Fair Housing Act and has declared April to be Fair Housing month within the Village. The Village understands the importance of acting to further fair housing in the community.
