Alfred State College, Alfred University and Village officials and members of the AE Crandall Hook & Ladder Company have been holding bi-weekly meetings since March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the pandemic ebbs, the group has decided to shift focus and continue working together, meeting regularly to continue the proactive conversation in our shared valley.
The COVID- Screening Group has adopted the name Alfred Community Coalition to reflect this broader mission. The group will hold a public ZOOM meeting on Tuesday, June 8 at 6pm to recap the year's pandemic response, provide information about the coming year and to listen to public ideas about how we can best move forward together.
